Abu Dhabi Equestrian Centre

SGW Emirates recently completed the first phase of a consultancy study, to address the safety and security requirements of the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) in relation the The Abu Dhabi Equestrian Centre, Phases 1 & 2.
The UPC plans and regulates strategic development across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Development proposals are subject to rigorous oversight to ensure that the city makes the most of the current climate of economic and cultural growth.
Plan 2030 will bring with it substantial population growth, demographic change, new industry and transportation systems to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The development review process ‘Planning for Safety & Security’ seeks to ensure that during this time of urbanization, that Abu Dhabi maintains and further enhances its reputation as a safe and secure nation.
SGW provided risk assessment and risk treatment recommendations for the development to remove vulnerabilities in the proposed development, so that the level of residual risk is tolerable to the owner and to government safety & security stakeholders.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank

In December 2010, SGW Emirates were appointed by ADIB to provide security consultancy for the new Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) Headquarters building, in Abu Dhabi. SGW's initial appointed services were for the shell and core (landlord's demise), but was further extended for the bank HQ fit out and included: Security Risk and Threat Analysis; Security Strategy development; Electronic and Physical Security Design; Tender Support; Contract Administration; and Witness Testing.
The detailed design of security technology systems will integrate state-of-the-art CCTV, access control, intruder detection and vehicle management controls, whilst the tenant and landlord control rooms will offer a dual redundancy feature, maintaining continuity of service in the event of evacuation or other disruption.
SGW Emirates are also assisting ADIB to realize its aspirations to centrally monitor and verify with live video, the alarm systems from its entire retail banking branches. As well as live video and alarms, the new central control room at its iconic Headquarters will be able to stream recorded video from its network of local recording facilities and securely communicate with each branch and the local emergency authorities.

AXA Investment Managers wished to consolidate and upgrade its CCTV and security systems. SGW first submitted an overarching security survey report. SGW was then commissioned to see the project through design, tender, evaluation, project management and performance witness testing of the new control room.
