Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is the UK’s fourth largest acute teaching trust. It was established on 1 April 2006 following the merger of Nottingham City Hospital and the Queen’s Medical Centre.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust engaged SGW to specify, procure and project deliver a technical solution and building requirements for trust-wide CCTV and access control to be controlled from a single location. The contract included the remodelling of the former security control room.
Further to this SGW were commissioned to carry out a feasibility study on the implementation of an ANPR system to enable Pay and Display parking areas to be monitored and controlled. This included customer requirements gathering and the production of a draft report detailing high level design and cost options.
