SGW Security Consulting managed the Leeds University project which required upgrading the majority of the University’s existing 67 cameras and a further 32 new cameras to provide effective coverage of key areas of operation.

A converged IP addressable image transmission system is linked to the University’s internal network with fully digital control and recording equipment

In 1999 the original CCTV control centre was installed based on CRT technology. whilst it had served its purpose well the technology was old and the room used for monitoring itself was not fit for purpose. SGW undertook several surveys

Simon Whitehouse Managing Director for SGW Security Consulting, who managed the project from design to delivery, commented: “We are extremely pleased to have been involved in such an important scheme and are proud to have seen the system completed on time and within budget”.
